Hi guys! It’s been a while :) Thank you for my new followers. I didn’t imagine that my number of followers increased despite of not posting lately. Hihi :))
Anyways, I’ve been using this blush for a year now, and I love how it transforms my cheeks a rosy-glowing cheeks. LOL.
Cute packaging! :)
It comes with a cute puff. :>
This lovely cookie blush costs P348. The price is not that pricey and not that cheap, but the quality is really good though the long lasting power is not that great. But sure, it will make you look blooming. Hihi.
Sorry for the not so great review. Haha. I’ve been busy lately. :))
Finally! I have found time to post. I’ve really been busy with school since I’ll be graduating on the 30th (Hopefully, because the grades aren’t posted yet) :D
I will really miss my College life. I’ve learned so much inside and outside the 4 corners of the room. From nervous breakdown, to giddy moments. Ugh, I will miss all of those! I will miss everything about College!
Now that I’m about to enter the real world (job hunting… :/) I hope I could find the right job that fits me. I do not want to have that high-earning job in which I don’t like what I do and every time I go to work I get tired. I don’t want to experience that.
Anyways, enough of the drama :)) I’ll be posting some review soon.
This is going to be a really quick post. Hihi. I just want to share what I bought from a Japanese/Korean thrift shop or for Filipinos “ukay-ukay” in Bicol last December. I really love the shop since the price is really cheap and you can find unique and quality items.
This is one of the blouse I bought which only costs 80 pesos!
Okay. So I’m back. I’ve really been busy these days and today I can say this is my free day. Hihi. Anyways, I recently watched the movie Something Borrowed (2011), and I really loved it! I’m still having a movie hangover until now.
The movie is based on the book Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin. This movie will teach you a lot about friendship, love, and taking chances. Gaaah. I want to fall in love after watching this movie. Haha. Though some says that the movie wasn’t good compared to the book, I really loved the movie! Hihi! The soundtrack is also great and I’ve been repeating the songs on my playlist.
It’s really a good movie to watch, and I’ll definitely recommend this. It’s a good movie to watch this coming Valentine’s Day! :))
How are you guys doing? This month has really been very busy for me. The fact that I’ll be graduating more or less 2 months from now (hopefully), doing thesis and other school stuffs. Oh, the life of a graduating college student.
I’ll try to post some reviews soon, if I can find my spare time. More or less, I’ll just post about what is happening in my busy life nowadays. Hihi.
Anyways, I just wanna share my Dreamboard page in my Belle de Jour 2012 planner. :)
(My advice for myself and for all of you guys this year: Positive thinking and time management is the key to accomplish a task.)
Nature Republic: Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Review :D
Happy New Year guys! Since it’s the first day of 2012, I’m going to post a product which works wonders. :)
Nature Republic’s Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel. This 300 ml gel, comes in a BIG tub.
Launched July 2009, this GEL made about 30 times of sold-outs in a year, and also sold about 1.50 million. It is the MILLION SELLER COSMETICS in Korea! Stimulated by the sun, the aloe vera relaxes your all reddish and dried face, arm, leg, and whole body.It also gives good moist and it is also rich in vitamin. Especially it is approved by CCOF(California Certified Organic Farmers) which has real 90% of the aloe. Fresh taste and fast absorption. It gives no sticky face but relaxed. -Source
It contains 92% aloe leaf extract which is really good for dry skin and treating burns and scars. What I like about the product is that it doesn’t contain paraben, it is mineral oil free, and artificial colors free.
The clear gel is really soothing, relaxing and moisturizing.
It costs Php220 which is really affordable for a product like this. :)) I’ve been using this and I think it’s really effective! I put it on the dry areas of my skin, even in my armpit, (LOL) and I’ve seen improvement, like my armpit got smoother. :D
Here are some ways on how you can use this Aloe gel:
Yay! I’m so excited to use my Belle de Jour Power Planner for 2012. It’s the Christmas gift I received from my sis. I’ve been eyeing on this planner in the past years but I couldn’t afford to buy it since I really don’t have enough money. Hihi.
This planner also includes discount coupons! Hooray for a budget shopper like me. :)
This is the first page of the planner. It will keep you inspired the whole year. :)
I’m now a certified Belle de Jour girl. Hihi. I also registered online for the Belle de Jour card.
Typhoon Sendong really had affected the Philippines recently especially in the southern part of the country. Lots of lives were taken away, lots of families lost their shelter. Christmas is coming, and I feel really sad because they won’t be able to celebrate Christmas with their loved ones lost and no trace of a good shelter.
We Filipinos could help by donating food, clothes, milk, cash and the like. Just search on how to donate and help them. There are posts in Facebook informing us on how we can donate those things. I will also ask help from our friends outside the country to do the same thing. You can donate via UNICEF, Red Cross and other agencies.
Or the most simple but really effective way is to grab your phone and follow this:
For Globe subscribers: via SMS, c/o Red Cross – text RED <amount> and send to 2899 – valid donation amounts are P5, 25, 50, 100, 300, 500 and 1000 (For ex, RED 10). Transaction is free. via GCASH, text DONATE<space><amount><space><MPIN><space><REDCROSS> and send to 2882
For Smart subscribers: via SMS, c/o Red Cross – text RED <amount> and send to 4143 – valid donation amounts are P10, 25, 50, 100, 300, 500, 1000 (For ex, RED 10).
I hope this would help our ‘kababayans’ who were affected by the typhoon. Of course, the most important thing to do to help is to PRAY, and ask for His guidance.
Since I will not be posting this vacation, (but i’ll try. hihi) I made this using MS Paint out of boredom. Adobe Photoshop is not yet installed here in my laptop so MS Paint is really handy, though my skills in creating stuffs like this are not great. LOL.
Anyways, Christmas is near! Have a Blessed and Merry Christmas to all of you! Also, advanced happy new year! See you again guys. :D
I bought the shade in G06, Glossy Red Orange since I’m looking for a natural looking shade in which I think complements my skin. Hihi. And of course, it’s glossy! I like everything sparkly and glittery. The Petit Cherry Rouge line comes in 4 variants. G for Glossy, H - High Color, M- Moisture and C- Creamy which is indicated at the top of the box as seen in the picture above.
Look how petite it is. Really complements the name of the product. So cute!
The shade is just right, not that light and not that dark. Perfect for those who wants a natural healthy looking lips.
This doesn’t dry my lips which I really like. The ingredients are all natural? Maybe. Since the brand is Nature Republic. Hihi. The only thing I don’t like about this is, it’s not that long lasting.
It costs Php 220. Cheap right? For a quality lipstick like this. I think I will buy the other shades in the future since I’m really lovin’ this lippie. :D
This could be also a perfect gift this Christmas for your girlfriends and loved ones. :D
According to the description at the back cover, it is specially formulated with oil complex and floral scent. It restores and reinforces brittle and damaged hair, preventing future breakage and leaving hair extraordinarily strong, soft, silky, and manageable.
I’ve been using this for months and I try to use it twice a week. But I’m such a lazy gal that I only use it twice a month. Haha. Anyways, I’m not really impressed with this treatment compared to the Silky Perfumed treatment that was included in the Bubble Hair Coloring. It does make my hair soft, shiny, and manageable, but it doesn’t last long. Also it’s a bit pricey (Php 348) compared to other hair treatments.
What I like about this product is its cute packaging and I really love its smell. I can just put my hair into my face and smell it. LOL.
I love how it fits small pockets in my bag and I love that I could bring it anywhere I go. It costs I think Php298. It’s not that cheap compared to other lipglosses that are much bigger, but I think the quality is great and it doesn’t make my lips feel itchy. (Since, I really have sensitive lips.)
The applicator glides well. (Tip: Put the applicator first on the center of your lips, then glide it on sides to achieve a fuller lip look. )
Glittery pink! If you love a nude shiny look for your lips, this one is perfect.
Collagen Pop Gloss also comes in different shades. But, I choose this one since I’m looking for that fresh, nude look for my lips. :)
Bought this matte lipstick from Nichido few months ago and I’m really satisfied with it. Though I don’t use it everyday.
Nichido Matte Lipstick in Pink Lush
It costs Php100+, but not more than Php200. (Sorry, I’m not really good at remembering price tags when I buy things. But I make sure that I buy things at a reasonable price. Hihi. )
It comes with a small pot of lip gloss at the top of the cover. Yay. A multi-purpose lipstick! :D
It contains Castor seed oil and Jojoba seed oil which helps the lips moisturized. The only thing I don’t like about this product is that it contains paraben. But, I think it is not harmful for me though because I don’t use this lipstick everyday. :D
Just came back from our retreat in Caleruega, Batangas. I can’t explain what I’m feeling since I’m so overwhelmed and blessed with all the things that happened in our 3 day retreat. This retreat thought me so many things. It thought me to really express how I really feel and just be true to myself. Of course, this experience made me and my classmates so much closer to each other and with God.
Here’s a panoramic shot on my favorite spot outside our room in Caleruega, taken with my Samsung phone:
A touch of blue and pink: Nature Republic's Nail Polishes
Bought these 4 nail polishes from Nature Republic. :)
Same pastel shades? LOL! I just love nail polishes in pastel shades, and with glitters. :)
I’m messy in applying nail polishes! Hihi! I so love this pearly-ish pink shade.
I love the consistency of Nature Republic’s nail polishes. The brush applicator is also easy to use and it glides well in my nails.
Nature Republic’s nail polishes costs Php 65. But if you have a membership card, you’ll get a 10% discount on any item. The price is very affordable if you are looking for quality nail polish, just like Etude House’s. :)
I will definitely buy more in the future. Maybe, I’ll try other shades, rather than pastel shades. Hihi.
Nature Republic branches in the Philippines: SM North Edsa, SM Fairview, Festival Mall.
Visit their Facebook page to know more about their products. :)
Tomorrow’s my big day. Big day eh? It’s my twentieth birthday tomorrow and I have mixed emotions for it. I’m quite sad because I’m getting older and I’m not a teen anymore. But also happy because I have another year to live and learn things as a young adult. My 19 years of existence taught me a lot of things. Being a kid, kid at heart, and a maturing person. Though I didn’t experience how to fall in love (which is my wish before I become 20. LOL), I think I’m ready for it when in the future. Teehee.
*My dad bought me this netbook I’m using as an early birthday present, and I just can’t express how grateful I am to him. Love you ‘pa! :D
Hmm. What’s my wish? I just want my family and friends to be there in my special day and I want a CAKE. :D
Speaking of cake, I want a cake from Tous Les Jours. I’ve been asking my dad to buy a cake from TLJ for my birthday, and hopefully he’ll buy me tomorrow.
Here are a sample pictures I got from their Facebook page:
Party with Teddy Bear - Made with Succulent and Irresistible Belgian Chocolate
Rose Inspiration Fresh Cream Cake
Yay! I want any of these cakes, or any cakes from Tous Les Jours. Hope I could taste it tomorrow on my special day. :)
(And oh, I forgot my other wish. I hope I could graduate this coming March. Yaay. *crossed fingers*).
I’ve been eyeing on this cologne after I watched an episode of Fashbook in GMA News TV. But everytime I visit Penshoppe, I couldn’t find this cologne. Luckily, I found one in SM Department Store’s Beauty/Watsons section. I immediately smell the scents of the Acquabella line, and I think all of the scents are lovely and it fits every girl/woman. Here are the scents according to your personality.
I bought the purple one or the I am Diva scent, and I’m totally lovin it. It has a fresh and girly scent which I like. It can make you feel refreshed everytime you apply it. The only thing I don’t like about this is that the scent is not long lasting. But all in all, I still like the product which costs only Php 110. :D
My first Nature Republic haul! Bought these items w/ freebies the day after their opening in SM North Edsa.
I bought 4 nail polishes, collagen pop gloss, and 3 face masks. My aunt helped me to reach a minimum purchase of Php 1,000 to be able to avail the membership/discount card.
Jang Guen Suk mini standee (I got 2. Yay!)
Jang Geun Suk mini pouch
Collagen BB Cream
Super Collagen BB Cream
UV Lock Ultra Milk Sun
Fresh Farm Apple Foam Cleanser
The Bamboo of Damyang Toner and Moisture Fluid (I’m loving these two products, and I think I will purchase it on my next buy. :D )
3 face masks
~Yaaayy! Freebies overload. I can say that what I bought was really worth the money I paid. And of course plus points to their endorser Jang Geun Suk and JYJ (currently there are no pictures of them in the shop). :))
Next purchase would be the Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel and hopefully the toner and moisture fluid. :))
“As much as I would love to be a person that goes to parties and has a couple of drinks and has a nice time, that doesn’t work for me. I’d just rather sit at home and read, or go out to dinner with someone, or talk to someone I love, or talk to somebody that makes me laugh.”—Daniel Radcliffe (via neknekmo)
Bought this Lip Ice sheer color balm two months ago and I’m really loving the product. It looks clear, but when you apply it, it turns into your natural lip shade. Cool right? I’ve been using this everyday in school, and I guess it’s really effective. My chapped lips are gone and it also add color to my lips.
It comes with natural beeswax that nourishes and replenishes lips, natural olive oil that keeps your lips moisturized, and with vitamins a, c, and e that keeps lips soft and kissable.
It also comes in two variants. Strawberry flavored, and the non-flavored one. I bought the non-flavored one since I’m not really a fan of flavored lip balms.
Lip Ice has also been the number 1 lip care brand in Japan. :D
Blogging in the middle of the night? LOL! I’m really a random person. I just feel like typing and sharing some of my thoughts and feelings. But as usual, I’m not into long posts, but I’m into the shorter blog posts, or even a one liner blog post.
Anyways, what made me blog in this middle of the night? Oh look, it’s already 11:57 in my clock. Okay, let’s go back. I blogged because I can’t even post how happy I am in twitter, because someone might see it! Hihi. So here I am, sharing my happy feelings in Tumblr. Lalala. :D
So that’s it. My quick and short post that is not so interesting. I just wanna share how I feel, though I didn’t really blogged about it. LOL.
Chances are, you’re not going to be alone forever.
Start spending more time with you. Laugh at your own jokes. Luxuriate in solitary silence. Walk. Read. Pamper yourself. Be as filthy and disgusting as you please. Learn the comfort of your own embrace. It’s a cliché but it’s true—you will love better once you’ve fallen in love with you. Sleep sprawled on the bed. Snore. When you wake up make eggs and bacon and eat them in bed on your own. Find things—big and small—that you love doing and do them everyday.
Focus on your job. Find a hobby. Do whatever the hell you want. Because when that day comes—the secret day you hold onto in the hidden recesses of your guts—you will have to compromise. You will have to think of someone else whenever you make a decision. You will have to share your bacon, and maybe they wont like it crispy besides, and you’ll have to adapt. You will have to sleep wedged between someone’s limbs. It wont be better and it wont be worse; it will be different, and you’ll have to learn to love it too.
I’ve been busy for a while now because of our exams. Well, tomorrow’s last day of our final exams, but I don’t feel like studying. Gaaah. Hate it. I wish I could steal test papers and answer it before the exam day comes. LOL.
